The following steps show the ease of repair and simplicity of theFELLA Shaft Drive Disc Mower: |
2. Right angle gearbox and cutter bar are joined together creating a common reservoir. This reservoir is fully filled with oil using a unique breather system.
This will allow running at extreme angles for long periods of time. The SM320 holds nearly 3 gallons of GL5-90 oil. Using this large quantity of oil, it can remain in the machine for its entire life. |
The skids are made of hardened steel and on inspection after 3,000 acres showed only minimal wear. |

6. Remove skid shoe from bottom of bar and drive unit. (These skids have only minimal wear with approximately 1300 acres.) |
